The future of the Myllet Arms in Perivale is under review as pub giant Greene King considers potentially selling around 150 pubs across its estate.
EALING.NEWS approached Greene King after being told the pub located just off the A40 and built in 1936 could close and the site be turned into housing.
The company has not confirmed those plans, but said it is “exploring all options” for the future of the Myllet Arms, which remains open.
A Greene King spokesperson said: “As part of our pub estate strategy to set us up to deliver sustainable and profitable growth for the future, we are exploring all options available to us regarding the future of the Myllet Arms. The pub remains open and trading as usual.”
Earlier this year, Greene King announced plans to change the way around 300 pubs in its estate are operated.
Around half are expected to be converted to leased, tenanted or franchise venues, while the remaining pubs are being evaluated for a potential sale over the medium term.
Greene King has not said which of those options is being considered for the Myllet Arms.
The Myllet Arms also shares the site with a Premier Inn, which Greene King said is operated separately.
EALING.NEWS has approached Premier Inn for comment on the future of the hotel.
