Students at St Augustine’s Priory, an independent Catholic girls’ school in Ealing, are celebrating a strong set of A-level results today (13 August 2026), with almost half of all grades awarded at A or A.*
The school said 48% of grades were A*-A, while 84% were A*-B and 96% were A*-C.
Among those celebrating was Natania, who achieved three As and has secured a place at the University of Leeds to study Medicine.
Natania joined the sixth form after being awarded a Mary Tredway Scholarship and will now begin her medical studies.
She said: “I am really excited about going to study Medicine in Leeds. Staff at St Augustine’s Priory helped me so much, they were always there to encourage and support me.”
Satoko achieved AAA and will study International Management at King’s College London, while Mahika, who also achieved AAA, is heading to the University of Manchester to study Sociology and Philosophy.
Other students have secured places to study Modern Languages at the University of Bristol, Philosophy at the University of Edinburgh and Classical Archaeology and Classical Civilisation at UCL.
Further destinations include King’s College London for Biomedical Sciences, the University of Exeter for Marketing and Management and the University of Manchester for Politics and Criminology.
Shriya, who chose to remain at St Augustine’s Priory for sixth form, will go on to study Psychology with Criminology at Loughborough University.
Headteacher Mrs Macallister said: “We are immensely proud of all our students and everything they have achieved. While these outstanding results are certainly a cause for celebration, today is about much more than grades and it is wonderful to see our students’ hard work, resilience and individual talents opening doors to such an exciting range of opportunities.
“Whether progressing to Medicine, the Humanities, Sciences or another pathway, each student has her own success story to celebrate.
“These achievements are also testament to the dedication of our teaching and support staff and to the encouragement of parents and families throughout our students’ time at St Augustine’s Priory. My warmest congratulations go to them all.”
