Pitzhanger Manor & Gallery has got into the festive season by holding its first Christmas Late last week (28 November 2024).
Attendees to the historic house, which is next to Walpole Park, took part in an evening of music and seasonal cheer.
The evening’s musical programme started with carols performed by Christ The Saviour Church of England Primary School choir. This was followed by Anik Bagga’s original compositions and a performance by the Grange Guitar Ensemble which was organised by Ealing Music Service.
Clare Gough, director of Pitzhanger Manor & Gallery, said: “There is nothing quite like celebrating Christmas surrounded by the Ealing community. Tonight, we saw the creativity, talent, and togetherness that make this season so special.”
Christmas Late offers visitors access to a number of special events and exhibitions including artist Grayson Perry’s The Vanity of Small Differences before it ends on 8 December 2024 as well as a candlelit tour of Pitzhanger’s Manor’s architecture and exhibitions.
Last week also saw the Ealing Film Festival hold its award ceremony at the Soane’s Garden Room.
Upcoming Christmas Lates at Pitzhanger Manor will be taking place on 5 and 12 December 2024 offering more music, candlelit tours and special offers.
Other seasonal events taking place include winter supper clubs and candle making workshops and the Peter Blake Art Bus making an appearance.
Tickets for events can be booked here.
