Local Ealing charity Znaniye Foundation which helps young people in the borough is to recieve The King’s Award for Voluntary Service for its work.
The award, the highest recognition a UK voluntary group can receive, recognises the impact the organisation has made with its team of volunteers over the past two decades.
Currently it supports over 350 children each week and offers a range of programmes and activities including supplementary education, Saturday clubs, summer schemes and arts projects.
Representatives of Znaniye Foundation will receive the award crystal and certificate from Sir Kenneth Olisa OBE, Lord-Lieutenant of Greater London and will also be attending a garden party at Buckingham Palace next spring along with other recipients of this year’s Awards.
