Hanwell Town made it three wins in a row on Saturday (31 January 2026) as four goals in 14 first-half minutes saw them take the spoils back to west London at a Dorchester Town side that are now cut adrift from safety.
Goals from Ernaldo Krasniqi, Alfie Pendlebury, Joe Wilson and Roberto Nditi put the Geordies into a commanding position before the break. Marcus Daws grabbed a consolation 18 minutes from full time but the Magpies never looked like mounting a comeback. Hanwell’s match ended on a sour note as Dwayne Duncan was sent off for two bookable offences.
The result would have lifted Hanwell clear of the relegation zone but Hungerford, Plymouth Parkway and Weymouth all won meaning the Geordies are only three points clear of the bottom four. However, these wins have drawn the west Londoners closer to the mid-pack.
Hanwell were looking to build on last week’s win over play-off chasing Gosport Borough and started brightly and looked especially dangerous from throw ins and corners.
And it was a Wilson corner in the 20th minute that led to the opener as Krasniqi found space to fire his shot into the roof of the net before wheeling away to celebrate with the travelling supporters.
Joe Waight had the ball in the net from an Elijah Oladunjoye throw in but the flag went up for offside moments later.
The long throws were causing problems and Dorchester failed to clear their lines on 29 minutes with Wilson firing a shot in from range that the home keeper, Gerard Benfield, could only turn into the path of Pendlebury who made no mistake.
The goals kept flowing as Wilson found the net from a free kick that took a nick off a defender on its way into the net on 33 minutes.
Hanwell fans wanting more, singing we want four, and the Geordies responded 60 seconds later as Nditi found the roof of the net, turning the ball home while on the ground with a fine piece of skill.
The Geordies wanted more goals but, after that 14 minute glut, chances dried up and Dorchester started to try and salvage some pride.
Captain and keeper Sam Beasant, though, will not be happy to have his clean sheet taken away after the Geordies were slack in the Dorchester half, allowing the hosts to counter and Daws finished off the move.
Duncan, having already been booked, committed a silly foul in stoppage time to receive his marching orders meaning Chris Moore’s defensive options will be further stretched for Sholing with Will Hall also out injured.
The result, though, was never in doubt as Hanwell made it three wins on the spin and can now aim to look up the table but, with results going against them, they can’t take their eyes off the rearview mirror just yet.
This week sees the Geordies travel to Broadfields in the Middlesex Senior Cup before hosting Sholing at the Oliver Connell and Son Community Stadium.
