Reward offered in Hanwell murder inquiry

Detectives investigating the killing of Dariusz Serafin, who entered a Hanwell pub with serious injuries just over a year ago, have issued a renewed appeal to trace Siavosh Mohammad-Khani and announced a £10,000 reward for information leading to his arrest and conviction.

Police were called to the Grosvenor pub in Oaklands Road at about 10.15pm on 10 February 2025 after reports that a man had come into the premises with serious injuries. Officers and London Ambulance Service crews found Dariusz Serafin, 33, with knife wounds. Despite the efforts of paramedics, he was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Metropolitan Police said homicide detectives have carried out extensive enquiries over the past year and now want to speak to Siavosh Mohammad-Khani, 34, in connection with the murder.

Officers have released an image of Mohammad-Khani and footage taken on the day of the killing. Police said the video shows him at a garage in Marylebone with a black BMW X4, registration HV67 RZP, which detectives believe was used by those responsible on the night of the attack.

Detective Chief Inspector Alison Foxwell, who is leading the investigation, said: “Dariusz’s death was a tragedy and we are working tirelessly to get justice for his family.”

She added: “We are appealing directly to anyone with information to please do the right thing and come forward – even the smallest detail might prove vital.”

FDCI oxwell said detectives also wanted to hear from anyone who saw the BMW X4 in the hours around the killing, or who may have relevant CCTV or dashcam footage.

Crimestoppers said the £10,000 reward is available for three months and will expire on 5 May 2026. Alexa Loukas, the charity’s Greater London regional manager, said: “If you have any information about where Siavosh Mohammad-Khani is, please speak up.”

Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101, quoting CAD 7176/10FEB25, or contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
