Residents call for Cleveland Park clean-up

A petition from residents calling on Ealing Council to improve cleanliness in Cleveland Park is to be presented to the council later this month.

The petition calls for taller litter and recycling bins to be installed in the park and for park wardens to make more frequent visits.

Local campaigner Mandy Lurie and Ealing Broadway Liberal Democrat councillor Adam Keenan have been collecting signatures in support of the petition.

Councillor Keenan said: “I am delighted to support this cross-party petition to help clean up our local park. The petition has received widespread support from residents.”

He added: “It is great to work alongside local campaigners and my fellow ward councillors to help enhance our green spaces and make Cleveland Park an even better place for everyone to enjoy.”
