Free water fountains arrive at Hanwell, West Ealing and Acton Main Line stations

Passengers using Hanwell, West Ealing and Acton Main Line Elizabeth line stations can now refill their water bottles for free after Transport for London (TfL) installed new drinking fountains.

With the new fountains, people travelling through Ealing can now access free drinking water at all five Elizabeth line stations in the borough – Ealing Broadway, Southall, Hanwell, West Ealing and Acton Main Line.

TfL says the fountains will help passengers stay hydrated during hot weather while reducing the use of single-use plastic bottles.

Trish Ashton, director of rail at Transport for London, said: “We are committed to providing easy access to free drinking water wherever we can. These new water fountains will help reduce use of single-use plastic bottles, continuing to support our vision to be a strong, green heartbeat of London.”
