Franco Manca has closed its Ealing Broadway pizza restaurant after 11 years in the borough.
A notice displayed in the window of the pizza restaurant next to Ealing Town Hall reads: “Grazie, Ealing. This pizzeria is now closed.”
The pizza chain opened the branch in July 2015, taking over the site previously occupied by Bella Italia.

Earlier this year, Franco Manca’s parent company announced plans to close a number of restaurants across the UK as part of a restructuring programme. The Ealing Broadway branch was not among the locations publicly identified at the time.
The company said the hospitality sector was facing significant cost pressures, including increases in National Insurance contributions and the National Living Wage, alongside business rates and VAT costs.
EALING.NEWS has contacted Franco Manca for comment on when the restaurant closed and what will happen to staff affected by the decision.
