Greener Ealing parking enforcement team makes the finals

Greener Ealing’s parking enforcement team has been shortlisted for two national awards, two and a half years after taking over the service from Serco.

The Ealing Council-owned company is a finalist in the Wellbeing Award and Parking in Action categories at the British Parking Awards 2026. The winners will be announced on Friday (18 September 2026).

Greener Ealing began running parking enforcement across the borough on 1 April 2024, when Ealing Council transferred the service from private contractor Serco to its in-house owned company.

The Wellbeing Award recognises work to improve the physical and mental health of people working in the parking sector. Greener Ealing, whose entry covers support provided to more than 400 frontline employees, is competing against Agena Group and Dukes Bailiffs.

Its measures include confidential health checks, prostate and bowel cancer testing kits and support for employees experiencing the menopause.

The Parking in Action Award recognises projects aimed at improving drivers’ parking experiences or tackling antisocial and unauthorised parking.

Greener Ealing is shortlisted alongside entries involving Enfield Council, Colchester City Council, Hammersmith and Fulham Council, Swansea Council Parking Services, NSL Manchester, Blue Badge Fraud Investigations, the National Persistent Evader Database, Unity5 and ScanNeo.

Katarina Pohancenikova, managing director of Greener Ealing, said: “We’re very proud to be shortlisted for the British Parking Awards for the second year running, which feels like a real achievement.”
