Fire brigade tackle West Ealing blaze

Four fire engines and about 25 firefighters were sent to a blaze at a terraced building of shops with flats above on Broadway in West Ealing on Thursday (11 December 2025).

London Fire Brigade said crews from Ealing, Southall, Chiswick and Heston fire stations were mobilised after control officers received the first of two calls at 2.58pm. Firefighters brought the incident under control just over an hour later, with the fire extinguished by 4.18pm.

The fire broke out in a two-bedroom flat within the building’s mansard roof, damaging most of the property. There were no reports of any injuries.

London Fire Brigade said the cause of the fire was under investigation by the brigade and the Metropolitan Police.
