More than 20 Ealing charities looking for new trustees took part in a trustee matching event last week (4 June 2026).
Organised by Young Ealing Foundation and Ealing and Hounslow Community and Voluntary Service, the event took place at Ealing Council’s headquarters, Perceval House in Ealing Broadway, and saw 36 people express interest in becoming charity trustees.
Local charities attending included JE Delve, The Log Cabin, Mahaba Cafe and Descendants, which met residents interested in becoming trustees and explained more about the work they do in the community.
The evening also included talks from existing trustees about their experiences and what the role involves.
Elly Heaton, chief executive of Young Ealing Foundation, told EALING.NEWS: “It was fantastic to see so many new connections being made between local organisations and people looking to use their skills, experience and passion to make a difference.
“Strong trustees help create strong charities, and we’re excited to see the impact these new relationships will have across Ealing in the months ahead.”
