Two arrests have been made in Southall Green as part of a crackdown on suspected drug dealing and drug use, after concerns were raised by local residents.
Officers from the Southall Green Safer Neighbourhood Team have been patrolling antisocial behaviour hotspots identified through community feedback on the Met Engage priority survey, including St John’s Road.
Last month (14 April 2026), a man was arrested on St John’s Road on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs. Police said officers seized wraps of Class A drugs along with a quantity of cash.
A second arrest took place on 20 January 2026 on the same road. Officers initially detained a man for failing to appear at court for a previous offence. During a search following the arrest, police recovered a quantity of Class A drugs, which they said was sufficient to suggest involvement in the supply of drugs.
Southall Green ward PCSO Czeslaw Rush said: “We are committed to tackling drug dealing wherever we find it. We will keep you updated on our efforts in the area, but if you have any concerns or evidence, it is important you report this as soon as possible.”
Police are urging residents to report information via the Metropolitan Police website, by calling 101, or anonymously through Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111
