Police are appealing for help to locate a motorbike as part of a murder investigation after a man from Northolt was fatally shot in Hammersmith last month. Detectives believe the Yamaha MT-09 Tracer motorbike was used in the attack and was later spotted on CCTV in Ealing.
Jordan Oliver Rodney, 30, died on 12 June 2025 following a shooting on Claxton Grove, W6, the previous night. Emergency services were called at 11:19pm on 11 June 2025, where two men were found with gunshot wounds. Both were taken to hospital, but despite medical efforts, Jordan could not be saved. His family is being supported by specialist officers.

The second man, also in his 30s, sustained minor injuries and was later discharged from hospital.
Jahmel Joseph, 28, of Eaton Rise, Ealing, has been charged with murder, attempted murder, possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life, possession of a prohibited weapon and dangerous driving. He is due to appear at the Old Bailey on 2 September 2025.
In a statement released through the Met Police, Mr Rodney’s family described their devastation at his death: “It is with unimaginable heartbreak that we confirm the tragic loss of our beloved Jordan Olivier Rodney, who was taken from us far too soon. Jordan was a man who touched the lives of everyone who knew him. He was warm, funny, and loving. Always quick with a smile or a joke that could brighten the dark day.”
They added: “We will remember Jordie for the love he shared so freely, the laughter he inspired, and the way he made us all feel seen and valued. We ask for privacy as we grieve this devastating loss and whilst we work to come to terms with what has happened. We are eternally grateful for the outpouring of love and support during this incredibly difficult time.”
Detective Chief Inspector Alex Gammampila, from the Met’s homicide team, said: “We are working at pace on this investigation, but are asking the public to help us trace what we believe was the motorbike used by the suspect in the shooting.
“The Yamaha MT-09 Tracer motorbike was last seen on CCTV in the Ealing area, near Eaton Rise.
“If you have any recollection of seeing it at any point on the day of the incident, or in the days afterwards, please call the police as soon as possible.”
