If you don’t know Simply Red by now, see them at Gunnersbury Park

Simply Red will play their first concert at Acton’s Gunnersbury Park next summer as part of the band’s UK and European headline tour.

The group, led by frontman Mick Hucknall, will perform at the park, jointly owned by Ealing Council and Hounslow Council, on 13 August 2027.

Special guests include Lisa Stansfield and Soul II Soul, while further acts are also expected to be announced.

The outdoor show is part of Simply Red’s Summer Funk ’27 tour and will feature some of the band’s biggest hits, including Fairground, Something Got Me Started and Money’s Too Tight (To Mention).

Mr Hucknall said of the tour: “We can’t wait to get back out on the road again in summer 2027 to perform at some incredible and historic venues across the UK and Europe. You can expect a set full of Simply Red upbeat hits to get you on your feet having fun in the sun with friends and family.”

The concert will run from 3pm to 10.30pm. It is open to those aged 14 and over, although under-18s must be accompanied by an adult.

Tickets go on general sale at 10am on 24 September 2026 at simplyred.london
