Villiers High School in Southall has recorded its best GCSE results in a decade, with one student achieving grade 9s in every subject.
Headteacher Christopher Richards said the 2026 results were the strongest in his nine years at the school, with the average grade rising from 4 last year to 5 this year.
Yousef Samaha, 16, achieved grade 9s across all his subjects, a school record. He plans to study biochemistry and maths at A-level and hopes eventually to attend Oxford University and become a doctor or dentist.
He said: “For the last two years I have been working really hard, and I am so glad that it paid off. I am so happy that I have succeeded.”
Fatehvir Brar also passed all his GCSEs after failing his mocks in January, achieving an 8 in maths, 7 in English language and 6 in English literature.
He said he began arriving at school at 6.30am for extra sessions and now hopes to study law and sociology at Villiers’ sixth form.
Mr Richards said: “We are really proud. They are the best results we have had since I have been at the school.”
