West Ealing hit by spate of ATM thefts

Metropolitan Police are appealing for witnesses after a series of cash snatch incidents at ATMs in West Ealing earlier this year.

The incidents were reported on five separate occasions between January and March 2026, with offences taking place on 3 January at 10.50pm, 23 January at 5.50pm, 25 January at 12.45am, 7 March at 1.30pm, and 24 March at 12.20pm.

Officers are asking anyone who was in the area at the time, or who may have seen suspicious behaviour near cash machines, to come forward as enquiries continue.

The Metropolitan Police said even small details could prove vital in helping to identify those responsible and build a clearer picture of the incidents.

Residents and local businesses are being urged to remain vigilant when using ATMs and to report any concerns.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101, quoting reference CAD 6084/23JAN26. Alternatively, information can be provided anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
