Metropolitan Police say they have stepped up action against anti-social behaviour, drug use and suspected drug dealing in Acton, with officers focusing patrols on hotspots including The Mount, Woodlands Park, Heathfield Gardens and St Mary’s Churchyard.
The latest update on Operation Broad Oak was published on Met Engage on Friday (19 June 2026) by Sergeant George Zealey on behalf of the North and South Acton Safer Neighbourhoods teams.
The operation was launched earlier this month after residents raised concerns about drug use and dealing, anti-social behaviour and crime in parts of North and South Acton. Police said the area recorded the highest number of anti-social behaviour reports in Ealing over the past year.
During the second week of the operation, officers issued nine Community Protection Warnings and two Community Protection Notices, mainly linked to alcohol and drug-related anti-social behaviour.
Police also carried out seven intelligence-led stop-and-searches and said they had gathered evidence relating to an address suspected of being linked to drug activity. Officers are now considering applying for a Closure Order.
Sergeant Zealey said information provided by residents was helping officers tackle crime and anti-social behaviour in the area.
