Peabody support for community groups in Ealing

Community groups, individuals and small organisations in Ealing have until Friday (30 May 2025) to apply for funding from the second round of Peabody’s Kerslake Awards, which support grassroots projects that bring people together in order to reduce isolation and boost wellbeing.

Housing association giant Peabody, is offering up to £2,000 per project, with a total of £20,000 available in this round. Applications close at 11.59pm on Friday 30 May 2025.

The awards honour the legacy of Lord Bob Kerslake, Peabody’s former chair and a champion of strong communities and social housing.

Sahil Khan, Peabody’s director of community strategy said: “This is really about backing people who care about where they live and want to make things better for those around them. It’s often the local, everyday projects – the ones shaped by the community itself – that have the biggest impact on people’s wellbeing.”

In the first round, 11 diverse initiatives were funded, including football sessions, literacy and empowerment workshops and nature-themed events.

Ealing-based groups and individuals can apply and find full details at: Peabody Kerslake Award.
