Zarah Sultana, MP for Coventry South, will speak at a public meeting for supporters of ‘Your Party’ in Acton on Thursday, organised in partnership with Ealing Community Independents.
The meeting will take place at St Mary’s Church, The Mount, High Street, Acton on 6 November 2025 at 6.30pm. It follows last month’s ‘Your Party’ event in Southall, where former Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn addressed supporters alongside local campaigners in what organisers described as a “people-powered alternative” to mainstream politics.
The organisers said: “This will be a grassroots meeting – aimed at sparking a discussion about the kind of party we need and planning next steps for Your Party and Ealing Community Independents. There will be plenty of opportunity for attendees to participate in the discussion. We look forward to hearing your contributions.”
Announcing the Acton meeting on X, Ms Sultana said: “Join us in Ealing for an exciting discussion about Your Party – a socialist, member-led party that is democratic and rooted in our communities. Let’s build it together.”
Other speakers include Ewa Jasiewicz and Kieran Andrieu from the Global Sumud Flotilla, Tara from Stand Up To Racism, Paul Kershaw of the Social Housing Action Campaign, and Raj Gill from Ealing Community Independents. Music will be provided by Ananya Wilson Bhattacharya.
Organisers say the event aims to unite residents and activists focused on community empowerment and social justice.
