Southall residents asked to help shape town’s future

Residents in Southall are being invited to take part in an Ealing Council survey on what they would like their town to look like and be like in the years ahead.

The council is seeking views on everything from Southall Broadway and The Green to the area around Southall Station and Merrick Road, with resident feedback helping to shape future investment and regeneration projects over the next decade.

People who live, work, study or run businesses in Southall are being encouraged to complete a survey about what works well in the town and what could be improved.

Councillor Monica Hamidi, Ealing Council’s cabinet member for good growth, said: “Southall is a vibrant and much-loved part of our borough, and it is important that local people help shape its future. We want to hear your ideas so we can build a plan that reflects the needs of residents, businesses, and communities.”

The consultation runs until 5 July 2026. A drop-in session at the Dominion Centre on The Green between 3pm and 6pm on 30 June 2026 is also taking place where residents can share their views in person.
