A new 7,000 sq ft community hub is set to launch this weekend at Greenford Quay.
Kiosk Greenford Quay, located on the ground floor of The Glassworks beside the Grand Union Canal, has been quietly building momentum over recent months as an all-day café-bar and cultural venue.
Part of a wider development that includes more than 2,000 new homes, public amenities and commercial space, the site has been designed as a fully accessible meeting place for residents on both sides of Greenford. With floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the canal and ample space for laptops, families and dogs, the cafe-bar – run by Greenford native Karl – opens early each day and serves food and drink into the evening.
From this weekend (28 November 2025), Kiosk GQ will also host a mix of local independent traders, including Indian street-food specialist Little Miss Delhi, burger brand Smash ‘N’ Slide, wellness provider drub, tattoo studio Inkspirationz and plant shop Greenka. Recent weeks have already seen the venue put on Bollywood dance classes, craft markets, baby drop-ins, karaoke and quiz nights.
The official launch weekend runs 29–30 November, featuring a craft market curated by Trash & Treasure, live music from Hanwell Hootie acts, DJs from Voices Radio and a photography exhibition.
James Bowthorpe, CEO of Kiosk.World, said the aim was to “support and platform local, independent businesses” while creating a cultural programme that brings neighbours together.
