A major new housing development at Twyford Park in Ealing has reached a key milestone after builders completed the highest point of the new homes.
Developers held a topping out ceremony on Tuesday (4 August) at the site, where Latimer, the development arm of housing association giant, Clarion Housing Group, is building 296 new homes.
The development will include 70 homes for London Affordable Rent and 68 available through shared ownership. The remaining 158 properties are now on sale, with prices starting at £349,950 for a studio apartment and rising to £935,000 for a three-bedroom townhouse. The first residents are expected to move in from spring 2027.
As well as building new homes, the project will restore the Grade II* listed Twyford Abbey and reopen its 1.2-acre south lawn to the public for the first time in more than 30 years. The new park will feature children’s play areas, community gardens, an orchard, 157 new trees and walking and cycling routes.

As well as more affordable homes, this project will also open up valuable green space and community facilities for local people to enjoy. The opening of the south lawn and the extensive landscaping works will create a wonderful new outdoor space for the community.”
