A South Acton housing development which includes 95 homes being bought by Ealing Council for social rent has secured £112 million in financing to help fund its construction.
Hurlington Capital said the funding had been secured for the wider Bollo Lane development, which will also include 429 student rooms in a separate building.
The developer has also received approval from the Building Safety Regulator to begin building work on both blocks. The approval, known as Gateway 2, is required before construction can begin on higher-risk buildings.
The £112 million facility replaces an earlier loan which funded the regulatory approval process and enabling works at the site.
HG Construction has been appointed as the main contractor under a £76 million contract, with work now under way on both buildings.
The 95 social-rent homes are expected to be handed over to Ealing Council in 2028, while the student accommodation is due to be completed in time for the 2028/29 academic year.
EALING.NEWS reported in July 2026 that Ealing Council was being asked to approve the purchase of the 95 homes for £29.15 million, with the overall capital budget rising to £30.28 million including associated acquisition and project costs. The purchase was approved by cabinet later that month.
The homes were originally intended as 49 London Affordable Rent properties and 46 shared ownership homes, but all 95 will instead become social rent. The block includes 27 one-bedroom homes, 60 two-bedroom homes and eight three-bedroom homes.
Harry de Lotbiniere, managing director at Hurlington Management, said: “We’re grateful to those partners, including our lenders and Ealing Council, for working so closely with us to deliver these new homes for London.”
