Puppies help teachers and TAs relax in Ealing

The first ever puppy-led wellness event for Ealing teachers and teaching assistants took place last week (30 November 2024).

Organised by teacher recruiters Teach Plus, the puppies provided an opportunity for teachers and TAs to relax and unwind at ID Studios in Dickens Yard.

In a statement, Teach Plus said of the event: “Teaching can be an incredibly demanding profession, and Teach Plus recognises the toll it can take on mental and emotional well-being. This event is a way to give back, offering a space for educators to experience a playful and soothing escape from their daily responsibilities.”

Teach Plus said it plans to host further puppy wellness events in 2025. A spokesperson said: “This event marks just the beginning, as Teach Plus plans to host additional wellness events in the future to continue showing appreciation and support for local teachers and TAs.”
