Teatro Hall closes after four years at Ealing Filmworks

Teatro Hall, one of the first venues to open at Ealing Broadway’s Filmworks development, has shut down after four years.

The restaurant, bar and events venue is no longer taking bookings, with a notice on its website saying “Teatro Hall is now closed”.

Teatro Hall, owned by Urban Pubs & Bars, opened in April 2022 in the restored former Empire Cinema building as Filmworks welcomed its first businesses. In recent months, however, it had reduced its opening hours, closing on Mondays and Tuesdays, while its co-working offer had also come to an end.

The venue occupies a large part of the former cinema building, whose historic façade was retained as part of the Filmworks redevelopment, which also brought apartments, shops and leisure space to Ealing Broadway.
