Ealing Wetherspoon pubs host craft cider festival

Three Wetherspoon pubs in Ealing will hold a 10-day craft cider festival from Friday (31 July 2026).

The Red Lion & Pineapple in Acton, The Sir Michael Balcon in Ealing and The Greenwood Hotel in Northolt will serve a range of traditional apple ciders, perries and flavoured ciders until Sunday 9 August.

The drinks, sourced from producers across the UK, will cost £2.99 a pint. Customers can also choose three third-of-a-pint tasters for the same price.

Among the ciders available will be Farmer Jims Prickly Pear, Hecks Slack-Ma-Girdle, Purbeck Dandy Dab, Rich’s Sunset Gold and Pulp Razzberry Rush.

Alessandro Piano, manager of The Red Lion & Pineapple, said the festival would feature ciders not previously available at the pub.
