A free sandcastle-building competition, games and giveaways will take place at Ealing Broadway shopping centre on Thursday (30 July 2026).
The event will run in Town Square from 11am to 2pm and is being held with Home-Start Ealing, a charity that supports parents and carers with young children.
Visitors can head to the centre’s Sportropolis Beach to collect a free balloon and take part in Conversation Jenga. From 1.30pm, children can enter a sandcastle competition, with three £25 Smiggle vouchers available for the best creations.
Home-Start Ealing staff and volunteers will also be at the event to talk about the charity’s work and opportunities to volunteer.
Andrew Rollings, centre director at Ealing Broadway, said: “We’re proud to be working with Home-Start Ealing again this summer to support the fantastic work they do for local families.”
Caroline Chapman, director at Home-Start Ealing, said: “We’re looking forward to welcoming everyone to the event, sharing more about what we do and seeing people get involved.”
The event is free, open to all ages and no booking is required. It forms part of Ealing Broadway shopping centre’s Sportropolis summer programme, which continues until 4 September 2026.
