Featherstone High School in Southall is celebrating its best A-level outcomes since the 2015 educational reforms, with nearly every subject outperforming national averages. This year, 30.41% of A-level grades were at A*-A, 62.16% at A*-B, and 86.82% at A*-C, with an overall pass rate of 98.65%.
BTEC performance was equally strong, with 79% of grades at D*-D, 88% at D*-M, and 99% at D*-P — the best value-added scores since 2021.
Nathan Walters, headteacher, said: “I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate our students on achieving a very fine set of grades and in so many cases, fulfilling their potential. Indeed, I would like to congratulate all members of our community in recognition of all the hard work and collaboration that has gone into helping students take the next step in their education.”
Mr Walters added: “We are delighted that so many of our students have achieved their dreams and ambitions in achieving their grades.”
