An art competition to create a map of the new Ealing Southall constituency has seen Ealing Green College student winning prizes.
The College, part of West London College, saw four of its students being recognised for their creative work.
The idea for the competition came after the boundaries for Ealing Southall MP Virendra Sharma were redrawn and the Labour MP wanted to showcase the wards that comprise his constituency which includes Walpole where Ealing Green College is located.
The competition was open to secondary school and college students aged under 18.
Mr Sharma said: “After the next election, Ealing Green College will become part of my constituency, currently it is just outside.”
First Prize went to Lovely Alcaraz while Harleen Ladhar, Yulia Velychenko and Amina Amrane were runners up.
As well as winning artists’ materials, each student received a letter from Mr Sharma.
