Ealing Broadway police patrols lead to drugs and fake cash arrest

A man has been arrested after police discovered suspected drugs and counterfeit cash during patrols in Ealing Broadway.

Officers carrying out proactive patrols in the town centre became aware of a man behaving suspiciously and stopped him to carry out a search. During the search, they found what was described as a substantial quantity of suspected drugs along with counterfeit currency.

The man was arrested at the scene, and enquiries are ongoing, according to the Metropolitan Police.

Police said regular patrols in Ealing Broadway are aimed at disrupting criminal activity and helping to keep the community safe.

Members of the public are encouraged to report suspicious behaviour. In an emergency, people should call 999, while non-emergency concerns can be reported via 101 or through the Metropolitan Police’s website.
