Sehgal family acquires Crowne Plaza London Ealing

Crowne Plaza London Ealing has changed hands, with the Sehgal family buying the 139-bedroom West London hotel through its hospitality business, Rivalminster Ltd.

The property located next to the Hanger Lane gyratory includes a restaurant and bar, a gym and conference facilities.

The purchase price has not been revealed.

The deal adds to the Sehgal family’s portfolio of London hotels. Rivalminster is a third-generation hospitality business founded by Hira Sehgal, who remains involved in strategic decisions. It is now run by directors Paul Sehgal and Saachi Sehgal, alongside Sienna Sehgal.

The family previously owned the Holiday Inn London Oxford Circus for nearly 40 years and still owns the Leonard Hotel near Marble Arch, which has been under Rivalminster’s control for more than two decades.

The seller was Westmont Hospitality, which previously bought the Oxford Circus Holiday Inn from Rivalminster.

Saachi Sehgal, who led the acquisition after previously working at real estate investment bank Eastdil Secured, said the company planned to invest in improving the hotel.

He said: “We plan to enhance the offering through operational improvements and modernisation in order to strengthen its position in the West London market.”
