Entries open for West London Business Awards 2027

Businesses and entrepreneurs across Ealing and its seven towns can now enter the 2027 West London Business Awards following a strong showing by companies from the borough at the 2026 awards, held in March.

There are 27 award categories for 2027, covering smaller businesses, larger companies, entrepreneurs, young people and individuals, with entries open until 14 October 2026.

Entries cost £30 plus VAT. Three awards aimed at young people are free to enter – Kidpreneur of the Year for under-12s, Teenpreneur of the Year for those aged 13 to 18 and Young Entrepreneur of the Year for those aged 19 to 24.

Ealing businesses won a number of awards in 2026, with Park Royal-based Doughlicious winning several, including Manufacturing/Design Business of the Year and Park Royal Business of the Year. Founder Kathryn Bricken was named West London Business Leader of the Year, while Nishita Rai received the West London Hero Award.

Other Ealing winners included Valueleaf Global, which took Business and Professional Services Company of the Year and the One to Watch award. Tastes Good Does Good was named Innovative SME of the Year, The Green Quarter in Southall won Socially Responsible Corporate of the Year and Edwards took Logistics Business of the Year.

Three new awards have been introduced for 2027: West London Data Centre Initiative of the Year, Resilience Corporate of the Year and the Bill Boler Award for Creative Excellence.

The creative excellence award has been created in memory of the late Bill Boler, who championed the growth of the creative sector across west London through West London Business.

The overall West London Company of the Year will be selected by judges from the category winners announced on the night. The title is currently held by Doughlicious.

As well as Ealing businesses, those in Barnet, Brent, Hammersmith & Fulham, Harrow, Hillingdon and Hounslow, along with Kensington & Chelsea, Richmond, Spelthorne and Wandsworth, are also eligible to enter.

Andrew Dakers, chief executive of West London Business and a member of the judging panel, said: “Every year, we discover remarkable stories from organisations of all sizes, from ambitious start-ups to established corporates. The 2027 Awards promises to be no exception.

“I strongly encourage businesses and innovators to take advantage of our new pre-application process and put themselves forward. These awards are not just a celebration; they are a platform for recognition, connection and future opportunity.”

The winners will be announced at the West London Business Awards ceremony in February 2027.
