Ealing tour guide Joanna Dudzinska will be giving a free tour around the Park Royal area this Saturday from 1pm – 3pm (30 July 2022) by helping people get to know the Wesley Estate as well as meeting local Park Royal artists sue Groom and Rudi Wallenda.
The tour starts by giving the history of the Wesley Estate, created by Harold Wesley for the workers of his stationary factory so they had somewhere to live.
It then goes on to meet two artists who live on the estate and to discover more of their work. Sue Groom who has one of her sculptures displayed in Park Royal, near to Subway and Rudi Wallenda a circus clown who has performed at Glastonbury.
Local hospital Central Middlesex also gets a mention during the tour where its past as the Willesden Infirmary is revealed.
The tour ends with a visit to Levant Cafe where tour guests can experience Middle Eastern food delights.
