Police appeal over sexual assault on Elizabeth Line

British Transport Police are seeking to speak to a man who left an Elizabeth Line train at Ealing Broadway station following a sexual assault of a woman on the train.

Detectives have released CCTV images of the man as part of their investigation into the incident which occured around 7.30pm on 19 April 2026.

Police said the man boarded the Elizabeth Line train at Tottenham Court Road before sexually assaulting a woman when the train arrived at Bond Street.

Officers say he attempted to disguise his actions within the crowd before continuing on the train and eventually leaving at Ealing Broadway.

Detectives said they believe the man pictured may have information which could help their investigation and are appealing for anyone who recognises him to come forward.

Anyone with information can text British Transport Police on 61016 or call 0800 40 50 40, quoting reference 115 of 20 April.

Information can also be given anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
