Morley’s Fried Chicken in Acton Vale scores zero in latest food hygiene rating

A Morley’s Fried Chicken outlet in Acton Vale has been given a zero food hygiene rating following an inspection by Ealing Council which found “urgent improvement necessary” in its management of food safety.

The takeaway, at 141 The Vale, was visited by Ealing Council food safety officers last month (20 July 2026) and received the lowest rating available under the Food Hygiene Rating Scheme. It had previously received a rating of 4 in January 2025.

The latest rating, published by the Food Standards Agency (FSA) following Ealing Council’s inspection, shows “major improvement necessary” in both hygienic food handling and the cleanliness and condition of the premises, while the management of food safety was assessed as “urgent improvement necessary”.

The assessments look at how food is handled and stored, the cleanliness and condition of the premises, and whether the business has adequate systems in place to manage food safety.

Morley’s head office was contacted by EALING.NEWS for comment but had not responded at the time of publication.
