Footpaths in part of Gunnersbury Park will be temporarily closed later this month while improvement works are carried out to repair and resurface walking routes.
The works, due to begin on 23 March 2026, will focus on sections of the park in the south-west corner, particularly around Potomac Lake and paths running parallel to Lionel Road.
According to park managers, the programme will include resurfacing footpaths, repairing uneven areas, fixing existing damage and improving drainage where needed. The works are expected to last around two weeks.
During this period, some pedestrian routes will be diverted and temporary signage will be installed to guide visitors around the affected areas.
David Bowler, chief executive of Gunnersbury Estate CIC, said: “As a charity, our job is to continue to improve the park for everyone. Every investment we make in the park — including work like this — is funded through the support of our donors, our local councils, and any income we generate.”
