Five students from Notting Hill and Ealing High School have been selected for the Great Britain water polo squad.
Four of the players are current pupils, while the fifth, Zara Dannatt, left in 2025. The current students include sisters Jaspreet, in Year 13, and Manpreet, in Year 11, along with teammates Iskra and Emily, both also in Year 11.
The school’s under 18 and under 15 teams are the current national champions while its under 13s won the national title the previous year.
Jaspreet, who has trained alongside her sister for several years, said the call-up reflected “long hours every evening”.
Rob Bent, the school’s swimming and water polo coach, said: “We are immensely proud of all five athletes. Their commitment, resilience and love for the sport have shone through, and to see them recognised at national level is fantastic.”
