Investigation into Greenford fire

An investigation is underway after a fire saw six fire engines and around 40 firefighters tackle a blaze at a house on Keats Way in Greenford.

The London Fire Brigade took calls from the public at 12:14pm today (3 March 2025) and crews from Southall, Ealing, Hillingdon and Acton fire stations attended the incident which saw part of a second floor loft conversion alight.

One of the Brigade’s 32-metre ladders was used to help extinguish the fire from above.

The fire was under control by 12:58pm and there were no reports of any injuries.

Police from Greenford Broadway, who were on patrol nearby, assisted the Fire Brigade with helping residents leave the premises as well as putting in local road closures.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
