Ealing community initiatives get £300,000 from lottery funding

New data has revealed that 17 projects across Ealing have received a total of £300,737 from National Lottery funding between 1 January 2024 and 30 September 2024.

Among the projects supported include Powerday Hooks Boxing Club refurbishment project in Ealing Common ward which received £20,000, The Wellbeing Project in Southall Green getting £19,900, Derwentwater Conversation Club in South Acton ward getting £14,991 and Walks of Unity in Walpole ward receiving £14,950.

When it comes to constituencies, only one project was in Ealing North, while Ealing Central & Acton saw ten being awarded funding and six getting funding in Ealing Southall.

The numbers for the report were crunched by NoDepositRewards.org, which analysed all 9,005 National Lottery grants awarded between 1 January 2024 and 30 September 2024.

Across Ealing, 15 of the projects are Charitable and Community including Health, Education and Environment category worth £249,287. The remaining two projects sponsored by lottery players are for Arts (£36,500) and Sport (£14,950).
