Four students from, Notting Hill & Ealing High School have been selected for elite international competition, in a range of sports from ice swimming to mixed martial arts.
The school said the latest call-ups follow news issued before Christmas, when four current students and one former pupil were selected for Great Britain in water polo.
Among the new selections is Alex D, a Year 13 student chosen to represent Great Britain at the Ice Swimming Championships, and Erin L, a Year 10 pupil who represented the French under-19 netball team at a European competition over the Christmas break.
The school also highlighted Baani G, in Year 9, who represented the UK at the Mixed Martial Arts International Championships in South Korea, and Hannah C, a Year 7 student selected for the England climbing team.
Andrew Bennett, the school’s director of sport, said: “We are immensely proud of all our students who have achieved national and international recognition for their sporting abilities.”
He added: “These selections are a testament not only to our students’ hard work, but also to the supportive environment and coaching culture we foster here at NHEHS.”
