Ealing Trailfinders will celebrate the borough’s musical legacy with a series of music-inspired matchday designs throughout the new rugby season.
It follows last season’s celebration of Ealing Studios, when famous film posters were reimagined for the club’s matchday artwork.
This time the focus switches from film to music, with designs for men’s and women’s home league fixtures inspired by albums, artists and musical stories with connections to Ealing.
The first design will be unveiled for Ealing Trailfinders’ home game against Richmond at Trailfinders Sports Club in Vallis Way on 27 September 2026 and will be inspired by The Who’s The Kids Are Alright.
The series will also highlight The Ealing Club, the venue opposite Ealing Broadway station which played an important role in the development of British rhythm and blues during the 1960s.
Ealing Trailfinders managing director Ben Ward said: “Ealing is so much more than the location in our name – it’s a fundamental part of who we are.”
