Seven properties across three streets in Southall were affected by a fire which took more than two hours for firefighters to bring under control.
Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters were called to Dormer’s Wells Lane, Kenton Avenue and Burns Avenue on Sunday (9 August 2026).
Two gardens on Dormer’s Wells Lane were damaged, with a shed, fencing and foliage destroyed. The fire also damaged a nearby footpath.
On Kenton Avenue, three gardens were affected. A shed was destroyed and the exterior of one of the properties was damaged.
Two properties on Burns Avenue were also caught up in the fire, with a garage damaged at one address and a greenhouse and shed destroyed at another.
London Fire Brigade said it was called at 12.59pm, with crews from Heathrow, Acton, Heston and surrounding fire stations attending.
The fire was brought under control at 3.17pm.
The cause of the blaze is not yet known.
