Reformer Pilates arrives at Acton Centre

A new reformer Pilates studio has opened at Everyone Active’s Acton Centre, just off Acton High Street, as part of a wider £2.5m investment in leisure facilities across Ealing.

Reformer Pilates uses a machine with adjustable resistance and a sliding platform, allowing exercises to be adapted to different fitness levels, with fans of the machine citing benefits including improved core strength, flexibility and rehabilitation support.

The studio, which launched last Saturday (21 March 2026), features 12 specialist reformer machines and has been created by converting a former multi-purpose room. Two weeks of free taster sessions are currently being offered to residents.

Phil Edwards, contract manager at Everyone Active, which operates the centre on behalf of Ealing Council, said: “We’re delighted to bring Reformer to Acton Centre and make this fantastic workout accessible to our local community. It’s a really versatile form of exercise that can benefit people at all stages of their fitness journey.”
