New shared ownership homes from Peabody

Housing association Peabody has released 60 new one and two-bedroom apartments for shared ownership at The Verdean, a new housing development next to Acton mainline station.

The homes, a joint venture between property firm Mount Anvil and Peabody, replaces the former Friary Park site in Acton and will offer 990 homes.

Prices start from £161,200 for a 40% share of a one-bedroom apartment with a full market value of £403,000 and from £132,750 for a 25% share of a two-bedroom home with a full market value of £531,000.

As well as high-spec features inside the homes, Peabody said the building also includes  a screening room, dedicated concierge and gym and cycle hub powered by Peloton.

Joe Farrington, head of sales, Peabody New Homes said:  “Our shared ownership homes at The Verdean offer an unrivalled opportunity for those looking to enjoy all the connectivity expected of London living. The Verdean is situated within one of London’s greenest boroughs, providing the perfect balance between dynamic city living and serene nature.”
