Revised plans for improvements to Victoria Road and Old Oak Lane were unveiled last week (15 July), with residents across Old Oak and North Acton now invited to have their say.
The plans follow public feedback gathered in October 2025. Ealing Council has received £1 million in HS2 funding for the improvements, which are intended to be in place until permanent changes are made as part of the future Old Oak development.
Changes include retaining the mini roundabout at Victoria Road and Chandos Road following concerns that its removal could lead to more traffic and queuing.
A new zebra crossing is also proposed at the Grand Union Canal, along with more planting and changes to reduce shared space between pedestrians and cyclists.
Other proposals include protected cycle lanes, wider pavements and new pedestrian crossings, while some parking spaces would be removed.
Residents can give feedback on the revised proposals for Victoria Road and Old Oak Lane until 16 August 2026.
A statutory consultation is planned for the autumn, with construction scheduled to start in winter 2026/27.
