MindFood gets The King’s Award for Voluntary Service

Ealing-based mental health charity, MindFood, has been awarded The King’s Award for Voluntary Service for 2024.

The charity, which was founded in 2012, supports people across the borough with help to improve their mental health by teaching them food-growing along with other tips to improve their wellbeing.

MindFood currently has two growing sites Cleveley Crescent Allotments near Hanger Lane and Horsenden Farm in Perivale. ering is too a huge step. MindFood helps to bridge the gap.

Lucy Clark, MindFood programme director said: “We are absolutely delighted to receive The Kings Award, which recognises the efforts of our dedicated team, and our amazing volunteers.”

Ms Clark added: “Every day they inspire us to do more to help people struggling with mental difficulties – they show us that with the right support, they can live happier, healthier and more fulfilling lives.”
