Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters were called to a house fire on Princes Avenue in Acton on Saturday morning (27 December 2025), the London Fire Brigade said. Half of the ground floor of the mid-terraced property was damaged by the blaze.
A man left the house before firefighters arrived and was taken to hospital by London Ambulance Service crews, the brigade said. No other injuries were reported.
Control officers received the first of seven emergency calls at 11.02am and dispatched crews from Acton, Chiswick, Richmond and Heston fire stations. The fire was brought under control by 11.59am.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
