Staff at Central Middlesex Hospital in Park Royal have set up watering stations to help bees during the hot summer weather.
Shallow dishes filled with water and surrounded by stones have been placed around the hospital grounds, providing honeybees, bumblebees and solitary wild bees with access to water during hot weather to help regulate their body temperature.
Jelissa Williamson, who works at the hospital’s Patient Access Centre, said: “It’s a gentle reminder of how small environmental touches can support both local biodiversity and staff wellbeing.”
