Following the success of last month’s (December 2024) pop-up clinics offering help and advice to anyone impacted by dementia, building society giant Nationwide and Dementia UK will be hosting a further three next month in Ealing.
The Ealing Broadway branch is one of more than 50 pop-up clinics that Nationwide is hosting across the UK and will feature specialist support and information from Dementia UK’s Admiral Nurses.
Dementia UK says its support includes practical and emotional advice covering a wide range of topics including concerns about memory, getting a diagnosis, and how the condition can progress.
Residents can book a slot at the pop-up clinic which takes place on 4 February, 5 February and 6 February 2025 by clicking here.
Ruby Guild, Admiral Nurse at Dementia UK, said: “We’re looking forward to returning to Ealing. Nationwide branches offer a safe and private space for people to access specialist support for dementia, and the Fairer Futures partnership is helping us bring face-to-face support to people in a familiar location.”
Debbie Crosbie, chief executive officer of Nationwide, said: “Nationwide wants to help people live their best life possible, for as long as possible. By working with Dementia UK to fund more Admiral Nurses and turning our branches into dementia clinics, we’re helping to tackle the country’s leading cause of death.”
